While VRS and its partners are committed to protecting the security and privacy of member information, members play a key role in protecting themselves.
When members register and verify their VRS accounts, they are strengthening their online security.
Share the following reminders with employees:
- Register your myVRS and defined contribution accounts to help prevent someone else from attempting to claim the accounts fraudulently.
- Do not reuse passwords. For your safety and security, please create a unique password for each of your accounts. Your myVRS password must be reset every 90 days.
- Ensure your contact information such as mailing address, email address and mobile phone number are always up to date in your VRS accounts.

EMPLOYER ACTION REQUIRED
When you update an employee mailing address in myVRS Navigator, be aware that the system will automatically send a confirmation letter to the member at both their previous address and the new one on file. Please let employees know they may receive a letter so there is no confusion about their account security.
