Employer representatives offer professional and technical assistance regarding benefit coverage and plan design. Team members travel throughout the state to meet with governing bodies and decision-makers who are considering participating in VRS or adding benefits for their employees.
Employer representatives also host forums where employers learn of new VRS initiatives, provide feedback and network with others. VRS third-party administrators often participate in these forums.

The VRS Member Outreach team provides support, education and resources to Plan 1 & Plan 2 members in five regions across the state: Central, Northern Virginia, Southwest, Tidewater and Western. A dedicated outreach counselor is available in each region.
