These Seminars Help Prepare Your Employees for the Future
VRS will hold several on-site Retirement Education Seminars across the state this fall. Designed for members within five to 10 years of retirement, these half-day sessions feature presentations from experts on the following topics:
- VRS benefits.
- VRS defined contribution plans.
- Social Security.
- Expenses in retirement.
- Estate planning.
- Health insurance options, including Medicare.
Sessions are held 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and are open to any VRS member. Register online:

Security Tip: Use Mobile Number, Personal Email in VRS Accounts
There’s an easy way for employees to improve their online security: Use current personal email addresses and mobile phone numbers in their VRS accounts. Remind them to log in to myVRS and update their contact information whenever there’s a change. Members can review security best practices in the VRS Security Center.
