Several updates took effect July 1, including new employer contribution rates and Line of Duty Act premiums.
- Employer contribution rates. View the Contribution rates for fiscal years 2027 and 2028. Political Subdivision employers can view their agency-specific contribution rates in myVRS Navigator under Generated Reports.
- Line of Duty Act fund premiums. If you have LODA-eligible employees, update payroll to reflect the new premium of $1,385 per full-time employee (up from $1,015), effective July 1. Find more information on the LODA website.
- Cost-of-Living Adjustment (COLA) increases. Eligible retirees will see the adjustment reflected in their August 1 benefit payment:
- 2.63% for Plan 1 members.
- 2.32% for Plan 2 and Hybrid Retirement Plan members.
