Gov. Abigail Spanberger recently appointed William H. Leighty to the VRS Board of Trustees.
Leighty is a managing partner at DecideSmart, LLC in Richmond and brings decades of experience in Virginia state government and public-sector management. He previously served as chief of staff to Governors Mark Warner and Tim Kaine, and as VRS director and board member.
