Reminder: Make Changes in Payroll for Hybrid Plan Auto-Escalation This Month
On January 1, the Hybrid Retirement Plan’s auto-escalation feature increased member contributions by 0.5% to the Hybrid 457 Deferred Compensation Plan for those not already saving the maximum 4%.
What to Expect for Employers
Auto-escalation changes will appear on your Deferral Change Report. Review the Voya job aid for instructions.
- Download the Deferral Change Report and implement the deduction changes in your payroll system before the first available payroll in January 2026.
- Remit contributions following your regular payroll schedule.
- If you are currently entering contribution amounts manually and would like to move to a batch file format, please review the Voya Paycloud Manual located at dcpemployers.varetire.org/training.
Remember: Auto-escalation may not apply to every employee. Apply only the changes shown on your deferral change report.
Allow extra time for processing, as volume will be higher than usual.
