VRS provides employers with two reports to help meet your audit needs for employee retirement contributions. Both can be accessed in myVRS Navigator.
GASB Report – Validation of Census Data
What is it? This report includes employee-specific information about salary changes, separation, enrollments and other employment data related to VRS benefits.
Time-sensitive: The Validation of Census Data runs overnight in myVRS Navigator and is available to the employer the next day. The report includes a maximum of the last 18 months of member information. Data before this period cannot be accessed. VRS recommends you establish a process to pull the information every quarter so that a year’s worth of data will be ready for auditors in advance of their deadline.

GASB 68
What is it? The GASB Statement No. 68 report covers the employer-specific financial data regarding the employer’s retirement plans but does not include sensitive information. The report is accessible to all myVRS Navigator users for each employer.
