Email VRS Forms Securely Using Proofpoint

To submit VRS forms with personal information to VRS, use Proofpoint to encrypt and deliver the message safely.
Tips for Using Proofpoint
- If you’ve never used Proofpoint before, you must register with your work email address and provide your employer code. Go to https://www.varetire.org/securesend and follow the verification process and you’re set to begin submitting documents.
- Sign in to your Proofpoint account using the email and password created when you registered.
- Send an email to vrssecuremessage@varetire.org and attach the VRS forms you’d like to be delivered. Make sure no filename exceeds 40 characters. You can attach several documents to one email message. Don’t put anything in the body of the email except your five-digit employer code and the VRS form number. In the subject line, put the name of your organization.
- Do not send password-protected or encrypted documents and files; they cannot be processed.
- Emails sent through Proofpoint are automated, so use the feature for standard submission of forms. If you have related questions or comments, do not include them in your Proofpoint submission. Send them to your employer relationship manager or use the secure message function in myVRS Navigator.
